Things to Do in Ureki

Ureki is a small Black Sea resort south of Poti known specifically for its black magnetite sand, marketed locally for supposed health benefits and popular with Georgian families rather than international visitors. It's a low-key, low-facility stop compared with Batumi — a beach day rather than a sightseeing one — and works best as a stopover between Kutaisi and Batumi rather than a dedicated destination.
