Things to Do in Gudauri

Gudauri is a ski resort about two hours from Tbilisi on the Georgian Military Highway, busiest from December to April when its slopes and heli-skiing runs draw visitors from across the region, and quieter but still worthwhile in summer for paragliding off the ridge above the Cross Pass. The Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument, a Soviet-era mosaic rotunda a few minutes below the village, is the spot everyone stops for the view regardless of the season.
